Life Matters: Free Educational Class	Are you prepared for the unexpected? Many people overlook life insurance, but understanding it can protect your family’s financial future. Who Should Attend? Anyone who wants to understand life insurance in simple terms. Parents, spouses, and individuals looking to protect their families. Those unsure about term vs. whole life insurance.
Lockout / Tagout	Lockout/tagout is a system that helps ensure workers stay safe while servicing or repairing equipment by making it physically impossible for that equipment to run or move. This course will teach employees how lockout/tagout programs work and the different roles workers must play to make them successful. Employees will learn to identify the importance of proper lockout/tagout procedures, what workers are authorized to perform those procedures, lock and tag systems used for lockout/tagout, and the special provisions of lockout/tagout programs.
Lockout/Tagout for Affected Personnel (OLT)	During equipment or machinery maintenance, there is a danger of workers being injured by stored energy, or by someone reactivating the machine or equipment. These kinds of accidents can cause severe injury or even death. Lockout/tagout is a method to ensure all workers stay safe by preventing accidental start-up or the release of stored energy. When learners have successfully completed this course, they should be able to recognize the importance of proper lockout/tagout procedures and the roles involved, and also identify lockout/tagout related equipment.
Long Term Care Nurse Aid-Reporting Only Sessions	Utilize in person training to prepare for the LTCNA Skill and Written Exam. Master the skills to perform personal care for residents in nursing homes, assisted living centers and hospitals under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. Upon completion, you will be eligible to take the certification exams for Long Term Care Nurse Aides CNA to be placed on the Oklahoma State Department of Health’s Nurse Aide Registry. Attendance during all classes and clinicals is required by state law. CPR and State certification tests are included in course fees.
Loss Prevention in Retail Sales (OLT)	Theft and other forms of shrinkage are a major problem for the retail industry, costing American businesses over $30 billion every year. Loss prevention is an important aspect of working in a retail or grocery setting, so it is important for employees to understand the goals of loss prevention and their role in the store’s loss prevention program. When this course is complete, the learner should be able to recognize common types of internal and external theft and appropriate responses. This course is designed for retail and grocery employees and features scenarios and examples relevant to the retail industry. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
Machine Guarding For Oil And Gas Personnel (OLT)	Moving machine parts have the potential to cause severe workplace injuries, such as crushed fingers or hands, amputations, burns, or blindness. Any machine part, function, or process that may cause injury must be safeguarded. Employees who successfully complete this course will learn to define machine guarding, locate fundamental machine areas, machine hazards, the types of machine guards, and the types of machine devices. This course is intended for oil and gas industry employees who, during their regular work duties, are required to work with or around machines equipped with guarded machinery, and can assist employers in meeting the provisions of OSHA’s Machinery and Machine Guarding standard.
Makeup 101: Kids	Join us for a fun night teaching your child about natural makeup application. You will learn plenty too! This class will teach you to utilize your makeup in the best light. Bring your makeup bag and learn how to do a full face application! You'll end with a fun surprise too (Hint: face paint or hair tinsel)! This class is geared towards kids 6-12 and must be accompanied by an adult.

Manufacturing in the Energy Sector	As a manufacturing decision-maker looking to bid on energy sector contracts, it is crucial that you understand the specific requirements and regulations within the industry. Join Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance's Joe Edmonson and Jenny Cothran in a discovery session to see how your current capabilities align with energy sector requests, review what certifications are required and/or desired by the industry, and learn what incentives may be available for your business' expansion. Marijuana Industry Hazards	This short class will discuss the hazards found in the marijuana industry, to include hazards to firefighters. Discussion on buildings, grow facilities and extraction facilities.
Marketing to Veterans	This class teaches realtors how to tap into this underserved market and effectively serve Veterans during the homebuying process. During this event, realtors will be able to connect with local Veterans organizations that military and Veteran clients may need, including Military OneSource and others. This class will be taught by Kayla Nelson with Envoy Mortgage. Kayla is a military spouse.
