Aircraft Maintenance Basics | Have you ever wanted to work on airplanes but didn't know where to start? This course is designed to prepare civilian maintenance personnel to effectively and safely perform aircraft general tasks such as FOD/PPE, safety around aircraft, fueling, required tools, jacking aircraft, safety wiring basics, R&R brakes and tires, radio communication, driving around aircraft, servicing oxygen and nitrogen, tech data, de-icing aircraft, understanding and how to write specific forms, and more! Securing Loads and Cargo | U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), establishes procedures for securing loads during transit on highways in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to recognize requirements of the standard and other cargo regulations, and identify approved securement systems and their characteristics. | |
Vehicle Backing Safety (OLT) | Even though most of us spend less than 1% of our driving time in reverse, the National Safety Council estimates that one in four vehicle accidents occur while backing, and that most backing accidents are caused by drivers using poor backing techniques.
