Active Shooter Preparedness Training	If you give your staff a plan and the skills to help themselves…they no longer feel helpless. Empowered people can overcome even the most overwhelming event. Join Ryan Perkins from Radius Consulting and the Tulsa Police Department as we cover common-sense, hands-on techniques and policy-based discussions to empower your staff to win when the time comes. This four-hour training skips the "scare tactics" of other programs and keeps the conversation light to make training approachable and keep attendees engaged. In this training, we will cover: •active shooter preparedness including strategies to survive an armed intruder incident •a toolkit of simple equipment everyone should have to facilitate survival •medical response to trauma in workplace violence or active shooter incidents •hands-on practice and drills using proper application of tourniquets, bandages, and more •evaluation of your armed intruder/active shooter plan and rill procedures (bring your policy for expert feedback!) •much, much more! This training is a $199/student market value.
AEMT	(Prerequisite: Emergency Medical Technician (Basic)) Expand your scope in emergency medicine as you take this next step in the world of pre-hospital care. Add skills and knowledge to your EMT foundation. Note: Class dates may vary within the schedule.
AEMT National Continued Competency Program	This course is designed to meet the 50 hour requirement for continuing education required to recertify.
Armed Security Guard (I, II & IV)	This combined course is designed for public school teachers who have been approved to carry firearms on school premises. This course includes CLEET-approved training to meet state requirements, including Security Guard I, Security Guard II, MMPI Testing, and Security Guard IV. •Only Security Guard IV requires the use of a firearm, which must be provided by the student. All firearm training will be conducted off-site at a shooting range. Firearms are not allowed on the Autry Tech campus. Phase I includes interpreting security guard law, first aid, fire extinguishers and writing field notes and reports. You will also interpret legal powers. Phase II includes public relations, fixed post duties, patrolling and investigating security incidents. Cost of the class includes first attempt for the certification exam. MMPI testing is not included in this course. Students will be enrolled in MMPI testing during this course. MMPI testing is $115/person. Phase IV uses either a revolver or a semiautomatic pistol, but not both, in a single class. To complete the training with both types of handguns, you need to enroll twice. You will need a duty style holster, belt, three magazines, magazine pouch and 450 to 500 rounds of ammunition. Reloaded ammo is not allowed to be used in this course. Instruction fulfills the CLEET Armed License Training requirement for the type of weapon used. Price includes first attempt at written certification test. CRASE Training - Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events	The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event. This course is designed and built on the Avoid, Deny Defend (ADD) strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004. Topics include: •The history and prevalence of active shooter events •Civilian response options •Medical issues •Considerations for conducting drills We are proud to partner with our community to help our citizens gather the tools to survive when every second counts. EMR National Continued Competency Program	This refresher course is designed to meet the 16 hour requirement for continuing education required to recertify.
EMS Instructor	The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Train-the-Trainer course is designed to equip experienced EMS professionals with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective trainers within the field of emergency medical services. This comprehensive course covers a range of topics essential for preparing individuals to train others in pre-hospital emergency care.
EMT National Continued Competency Program	This course is designed to meet the 40 hours of continuing education for EMT's required to recertify.
Energy Work 101	Learn more Acupuncture, QiGong, Tai Chi, Pranic Healing, Reiki, Quantum Healing, Breathwork, Lightwork and other forms of energy work. This course is excellent for individuals who are seeking BASIC information about energetic “healing” modalities. Special attention will be given to breathwork, tai chi, and Reiki practices. Reiki 1 attunements will be made available at the end of the course.
English as a Second Language- Healthcare	Provide non-native-speaking individuals interested in the health care industry with the English skills needed to communicate and function effectively in the workplace.
Exploring Care and Support Services	Exploring Care and Support Services examines how best to prepare for future care decisions and changes, including respite care, residential care and end of life care.
Fire Fighter Proctor and Evaluator	Training for certification to become a Proctor and or Evaluator.
Firefighter 1	This course provides basic knowledge and skills to successfully complete Firefighter I certification exam. The course includes an eight-hour live burn training and an eight-hour Firefighter I skills test. Hazmat Awareness and Hazmat Operations are needed to complete this certification.
