Portable Fire Extinguisher Techniques on Oil and Gas Sites (OLT)	Fires can inspire panic, and reviewing how to use a fire extinguisher beforehand can save precious seconds that could make all the difference in an emergency. Employees who successfully complete this course will demonstrate knowledge of how and when to use different types of portable fire extinguishers. Employees will learn to recognize when to use a portable fire extinguisher, the various types of fire extinguishers, and the steps of the PASS technique. This course is designed for employees in the oil and gas industry who may use a fire extinguisher, and should assist the employer in meeting OSHA’s standard on portable fire extinguishers.
Portable Fire Extinguishers: Uses of Extinguishers Microlearning (OLT)	If you encounter a fire at home or on the job, a portable fire extinguisher can help you to protect yourself and possibly stop the fire in its tracks. Learners who successfully complete this course should be able to recognize the uses of a portable fire extinguisher and the five classes of fire. This microlearning course is part of a broader topic. Process controls (Level 1)	This course provides hands-on training in pressure process control, focusing on simultaneous liquid level and tank pressure management. Students will work with industry-standard components, including differential pressure sensors and proportional valves, to develop practical skills. Using an industrial-grade VFD-controlled centrifugal pump, learners will explore gas blanket applications in both manual and automatic modes, preparing them for real-world process control scenarios.

Railroad 101 for Emergency Responders	According to the Association of American Railroads (AAR), rail is by far the safest way to move hazardous materials (hazmat). Today, more than 99.99% of rail hazmat shipments arrived at their destination without incident. But what should you do if a railroad car is involved in an accident that results in a release of hazmat to the environment? This class will be taught by BNSF's environmental team and is designed to train local responders on hazmat awareness and emergency response in the unlikely event that a hazmat emergency occurs. Topics that may be covered include: •what to expect should BNSF respond to a derailment, cleanup, or oil spill •resources available with a BNSF hazmat response •Incident Command structure Registration is encouraged.
