Introducing: Grow with Google Professional Certificates	Autry Technology Center is proud to partner with the State of Oklahoma to offer Google Professional Certificates to learners in our district. We invite you to join us for an introduction to the Grow with Google program and how these certificates can help you get from where you are to where you want to be. Google Professional Certificates are self-paced, online training programs that teach job-ready skills in six high-growth, high-demand fields. These specialized areas include: •Cybersecurity •Data Analytics •Digital Marketing & E-Commerce •IT Support & Automation •Project Management •UX Design Autry Tech has a limited amount of scholarships provided by State of Oklahoma which will allow qualified learners to complete these programs at no cost. Join us for the first of three classes to help make quality management systems (QMS) less intimidating and provide a casual learning environment where questions are encouraged. Introduction to Photography with Dawn Muncy	Embark on an exciting journey into the world of photography with our Introduction to Photography course with Master Photographer Dawn Muncy. Specifically designed for beginners, this course covers essential concepts and techniques to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of manual and automatic camera functions, principles of composition as well as how to find and control natural light. Day 1: Understanding the exposure triangle. Aperture, shutter speed and ISO and how they work together to control exposure and achieve specific effects in your photographs. Day 2: Mastering camera functions. Ever wonder what all those letters are on the top of your camera? We’ll cover the basic manual and automatic functions of your camera so you feel more confident and in control of the final image. We’ll also discuss white balance and how to achieve accurate color. Day 3: Composition Techniques for Captivating Images. We’ll explore fundamental composition principles such as the rule of thirds, framing, leading lines and balance and discover how it can greatly enhance your visual storytelling Day: Tips for finding the best natural light. You don’t need a lot of expensive equipment to create a beautiful image but you do need a basic understanding of light quality and direction. We’ll explore a variety of ways to improve your photographs with available light and how to achieve the look you desire. Throughout the course, our highly skilled photographic instructor will provide expert guidance, personalized feedback and practical demonstrations. By the end of this course, you’ll have gained a solid understanding of the basic principles of photography and enjoy the final results in your own work.

Welcome to Windows 10, the completely new operating system from Microsoft, which offers a more robust, more powerful, and completely unique computing experience. In this course, you will gain the foundation you need to get started right away using Windows 10. File Explorer can help you manage your files and create basic text documents using WordPad. From managing files and editing photos to working with external drives, you will learn everything you need to know about getting the most from this operating system. Junior Responder Academy	Autry Teen Tech Academy- Experience the thrill of firefighting, policing, and ambulance work firsthand in this immersive program! Throughout the week, students will engage in hands-on activities simulating the roles of emergency responders. They’ll have the opportunity to explore equipment and vehicles used in these fields and practice essential skills under the guidance of guest instructors from fire service, emergency medical response, and law enforcement. Don’t miss this chance to step into the shoes of these brave professionals and discover the excitement of saving lives and protecting communities! This class is offered during Autry Teen Tech Academy, a summer program designed to give students the opportunity to interactively learn about career fields and Autry Tech training programs.
Keeping Manufacturing Local: The Benefits of Using Connex	Join Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance's Joe Edmonson and Jenny Cothran to learn about how Connex is changing small manufacturers' ability to win contracts across the nation. In this session, we will discuss: •How the Connex platform has impacted manufacturing companies in rural Oklahoma. •Learn how to diversify your current capabilities to new markets •Hear why Oklahoma companies are being passed up in the bid process. •Understand what resources you have available to help you either win the bid or train your workforce to take on additional production once you've already been awarded a contract. Keeping Your Business Safe: Cybersecurity and AI	With the ever-changing use of technology within an organization and the rise of AI, businesses are at risk for attacks that could capture employee information or violate critical systems. This session will cover basic cybersecurity knowledge that can be applicable to any size business, especially those without large IT support. We will also cover AI and how this can help your business.
Ladder Safety for Oil and Gas Personnel (OLT)	Ladders are one of the most common and simple tools people use on the job. It’s easy to forget that they can also be extremely dangerous. Each year in the United States, accidents involving ladders cause approximately 300 deaths and 130,000 injuries requiring emergency medical attention. This course should assist learners in recognizing hazards of ladder use, different types of ladders, and inspection requirements. This course is intended for employees in the oil and gas industry who use ladders at work on a regular basis, and will assist employers in meeting OSHA standards on ladder safety. While this course addresses OSHA training requirements, there may be a site-specific training component required that must be fulfilled by an employer.
Lead Awareness (OLT)	Lead has been used for thousands of years for different reasons such as cooking pots, utensils, and plumbing. However, accidental exposure and consumption to lead is poisonous and can result in significant organ and tissue damage. This course will teach employees about the hazards of lead exposure and controls used to minimize or eliminate those hazards. Employees will learn about the effects of lead exposure and the use of personal protective equipment and other methods to reduce the risk of hazardous exposure. This course is intended for general-industry employees who may be exposed to significant levels of lead, and can assist employers in meeting OSHA’s requirements on lead exposure. This course is presented in English and Spanish.
Leadership University	This program is designed to take mid-level managers to the next level. We will have discussions and interactive activities focused on how to grow in your role and ultimately increase your effectiveness as a leader. Sections will include a DiSC management analysis as the basis for your training, making the leader shift, Building trust & conflict resolution, situational leadership, civil treatment, team building and coaching, generational diversity and communication and managing change.
Leading with an Infinite Mindset	Are you inspiring your team or holding them back? No matter how successful the leadership of your company is, there is always room for improvement. Great managers and leaders give life to a job, they make it meaningful, satisfying and engaging. We will discuss different companies’ successes and failures based on them having an infinite or a finite approach and identify key learnings that can tie to our roles in Careertech. You will leave the session with clear takeaways on how you can grow yourself and create the right environment for others to grow.
