Join master educator Lindsey Newell for a series of theatre classes to help build confidence in film and theatre performance. After spending 13 years in Los Angeles as an actress, writer, and producer, Lindsey has returned to her hometown of Enid, OK. She believes that "anyone with enough curiosity and drive to learn can become an actor and improve their skill." She has spent the last few years teaching acting foundations, on-camera technique, and sitcom acting at Scott Sedita's Acting Studio in Larchmont Village, CA.
Industrial Mechanic Level 1	This course is designed to introduce basic mechanical skills for a entry level mechanic with no previous mechanical experience. You will learn the basic inner workings of simple hydraulic and pneumatic system and also the basics of mechanical systems that are belt, chain, and gear driven. Industrial Mechanic Level 2	This Level two course is designed for students that have completed the level one course or who have limited previous mechanical experience. The course will step you through the Basics of AC/DC Electricity and basic multimeter usage. Students will also be introduced to piping fundamentals where they will learn various plumbing task such as cutting, threading, pipe measurement, flaring tubing, and PVC installs. Basic AC/DC Electrical: · AC Circuit Fundamentals · DC Circuit Fundamentals Piping Fundamentals: · Identification of Pipes, Fittings, Valves, and Hangers · Piping Circuit Layout and Measurement · Calculating Pipe Length for Cutting, Reaming, and Threading Steel Pipe · Identification, Insulation, and Assembly of a Steel Pipe Circuit Using Threaded Fittings · Assembling a Hose Circuit Using Barb Fittings and Clamps, and PVC Pipe Using Cemented Fittings
Instructor I (Fire & EMS)	Prepares emergency service personnel to deliver a training class from a prepared lesson plan. It is appropriate for company officers, training officers, instructors in the fire service, EMS, emergency management, or industrial fire protection.
Interview Skills to Get the Job	Led by our Career Development Specialist, this course will provide instruction for enhancement of interview skills and review answering common questions to ensure confidence during an interview. Appropriate dress, mannnerisms, and approaches for a successful interview will be covered. Each student will have an opportunity to sign up for a mock interview to enhance these skills.
Into to BOSS LS2440 CO2 Laser Operation	One-on-one training in McCullough Lab for operation of BOSS LS2440 CO2 Laser
Intro to 5 axis machining	By the end of this course, students will understand the fundamentals of 5-axis machining, including machine setup, rotary axis movement, and basic programming strategies. They'll gain hands-on experience running a sample part, troubleshooting issues, and using CAM tools to simulate and verify toolpaths—building confidence to take the next step in advanced CNC work.
Intro to CNC: Aspire Software	This training includes a FREE month membership to the McCullough Lab at a $50 value. Students will learn to utilize the Aspire Software for the CNC Router. The class will include a hands-on project that students will be able to take home at the end. Students will needs to bring or purchase materials for their specific project.
Intro to Programmable Logic Controllers/(Allen Bradley)	Upon completion of this course students will be able to identify the components of a PLC, download a PLC file using PLC Programming Software, monitor and safely run and stop a PLC using PLC software. Also students will perform hands on skills to store and load PLC images to and from a SD card and remove and install an ESM.
Introduction to CNC Machine Operation and Safety	This hands-on class introduces participants to safe CNC machine operation. Learners will cover essential safety practices, machine setup, and operation basics to build confidence around CNC equipment used in today’s manufacturing environments. This class will be two three-hour classes.
Introduction to GIS	Geographic Information Systems (GIS) help businesses and organizations visualize data and make better decisions. This accelerated course gives you practical experience using ArcGIS Online to work with location data, design clear digital maps, and perform basic spatial analysis. You’ll explore real-world business applications of GIS, learning how to use location intelligence to uncover patterns, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making.
Introduction to Manual Machining	This beginner-friendly course teaches the fundamentals of manual machining over two 3-hour sessions. Students learn how to safely operate tools like lathes and milling machines, read blueprints, use precision measuring instruments, and machine a simple part to specification. The course blends theory with hands-on practice, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and real-world skills.
Introduction to Photography with Dawn Muncy	Embark on an exciting journey into the world of photography with our Introduction to Photography course with Master Photographer Dawn Muncy. Specifically designed for beginners, this course covers essential concepts and techniques to help you gain a comprehensive understanding of manual and automatic camera functions, principles of composition as well as how to find and control natural light. Day 1: Understanding the exposure triangle. Aperture, shutter speed and ISO and how they work together to control exposure and achieve specific effects in your photographs. Day 2: Mastering camera functions. Ever wonder what all those letters are on the top of your camera? We’ll cover the basic manual and automatic functions of your camera so you feel more confident and in control of the final image. We’ll also discuss white balance and how to achieve accurate color. Day 3: Composition Techniques for Captivating Images. We’ll explore fundamental composition principles such as the rule of thirds, framing, leading lines and balance and discover how it can greatly enhance your visual storytelling Day: Tips for finding the best natural light. You don’t need a lot of expensive equipment to create a beautiful image but you do need a basic understanding of light quality and direction. We’ll explore a variety of ways to improve your photographs with available light and how to achieve the look you desire. Throughout the course, our highly skilled photographic instructor will provide expert guidance, personalized feedback and practical demonstrations. By the end of this course, you’ll have gained a solid understanding of the basic principles of photography and enjoy the final results in your own work.
