Customer Service and Sales (OLT) | Learners who earn this certification will master customer service and sales skills, including understanding the customer life cycle, developing effective strategies to engage customers, assessing customer needs and closing sales. Best practices for building resumes and navigating job searches are also covered. This course is perfect for someone interested in or currently working in a customer facing role, whether in retail or in another industry. After completing this online course, you will be able to: •Understand the retail industry, the customer and the value of customer service •Recognize the importance of product/service knowledge and how it impacts connecting with the customer •Understand how to meet the customer’s needs and techniques to make the sale •Practice honing customer service skills to project a professional image and build your personal brand •Know how to navigate job searches and build a professional network This class includes an exam at the end. Customer Violence in the Retail Environment (OLT) | The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) estimates nearly 2 million workers are involved in a violent incident at work in any given year. These incidents can range anywhere from verbal abuse to life-threatening physical attacks. This course is designed to help employees understand how to identify and respond to the types of violence they might encounter on the job. After successfully completing this course, the learner should know how to identify and properly handle shoplifters, robbers, abusive customers, and other workplace violence risks. Employment Essentials: Job Readiness 101 | Join this workshop designed to help adults learn how to craft an effective resume, navigate job applications, and master the art of securing employment. Participants will gain essential tips and strategies to highlight their skills and abilities in seeking a job. This class is offered in partnership with the Enid-area Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitative Services Employment Essentials program. Employment Essentials courses will be held the third Tuesday of the month. While this class will specifically cover topics related to various disabilities, there will be time for discussion on other sensitive questions and curiosities in what to disclose with certain conditions. This class is open to the public. | |

You can help athletes and earn extra money at the same time! This course will go over the rules, techniques, and help you learn how to deal with difficult situations on and off the field. | |
Football Officiating | Are you passionate about football? Have you ever considered the idea of becoming a referee? Here's your chance! This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to pass the state test and excel as a football official. In addition to classroom instruction, you will also have the opportunity to participate in field scrimmages to prepare for the upcoming season. Upon successfully passing the test, you can officiate games and earn additional income (with pay ranging from $50 to $110 per game for certain high schools) while also contributing to your community! | |
