Individual Leadership - Healthcare	Following Trusted Healthcare Principles every day: This lesson focuses on magnifying Trusted Healthcare Principles such as duty to speak up, deference to expertise, and taking care of yourself. By following these principles, students will learn how to speak up if something does not feel right (critical in healthcare - especially for med techs, CMAs, and healthcare office workers), and be willing to stop the line (a Toyota Principle) in the name of quality and safety. You will also learn about taking care of yourself, which is critical for todays healthcare workers.

Leading a Team - Healthcare	This lesson is meant for middle managers, or as a "look ahead" for young technicians. Eventually, you will be asked to be a supervisor and lead a team of healthcare workers. We'll focus on basic leadership skills: leading by example, role definition, empowering your people and we'll go over the "Just Culture Algorithm". This algorithm is meant to address a problem focusing on lack-of-training or broken processes, rather than blaming the person for malicious intent or willful neglect. Healthcare workers can make mistakes - but it is rarely if ever malicious. Many times it is attributable to training, processes or communication.
